It seems that when you adjust to one thing, something else comes along.

How are you all dealing with it all ?
I have gotten in the groove with my self-isolating.
It's been three weeks this past Wednesday.
Since I am hi-risk I sure don't want this virus.

Hubby has been in the hospital since this past Tuesday.
In addition to his heart / kidneys / and needing surgery on a growth on the top of his head (which he has declined)
Now he has a blood infection.
I can't be with him as the hospital has a no visitor policy going on.

I have so many things that I need to do here, but, am having a hard time deciding where to start.

I must admit that I spend a lot of my time just cuddling with SADIE MAE.

It's hard to believe that this is GOOD FRIDAY. Just think 2 days from now it will be EASTER.
I have no one to have in to eat and chat.
Our original plans were to have kids and families and us to go out to eat, then come back here for dessert and chating. But, this year, it will be just SADIE MAE and I.

I have my new Easter outfit, Sadie has hers.
I guess it will just hang there this year. SADIE WILL WE AR HER T-shirt
She'll eat her Iams and I will eat my Stouffers- entree of roasted turkey, mashed potatoes gravy and green veggie.

No one from out of state is to come into our state. Both daughters live in an a joining state. Our younger daughter said she didn't know what they would have.. I n her 53yrs we have always spent EASTER together here at home.

If anyone crossed state line they would be quartered here for 14-days.

I've got to get busy doing something.

So sorry your husband is in the hospital & you can not visit him, so very hard.

I will be eating my meals alone today, too & watched services on TV.

I am sorry your husband is in the hospital. I know it has to be hard not to be able to visit with him. This Easter will definitely be a lot different than usual. Hopefully you will be able to find a service to watch on television. Be safe. emoticon

Hello Janet, I am sorry that your husband is in the hospital and you can't even go see him. I sure do hope that he is going to be OK. I know what you mean about your childlren not being able to come and have Easter with you. My son & 3 grandsons live 4 states away. My daughter and granddaughter live in the next town from me, but they don't come over because he has to work out in the public and my daughter is afraid that she will bring germs to me. So, I guess that all of us just have to make the best of Easter this year. Even churches are not open. I am glad that you have Sadie Mae to hold and keep you company. I have two chihuahua's, Hank & Tator, who constantly sit on me when I am sitting down. They really LOVE me, as I do them.
