Round 2 at the Drs

Wednesday, April 01, 2020

So a week or so ago I went to urgent care and the chest pain I got, got labeled as muscle strain. I'm already taking the strongest they can give, which could cause it to flare up more... dr doesnt know what they can do to help me...could be I'm overdoing myself at work, meds causing this reaction, or stress causing me to tense out my muscles.

At the same time, I had this dr for the first time in Jan and she did all these labs and pushed me to the weight Dr, going above and beyond what her colleagues had in past. She saw my weight today and overall, since I saw them before January, my highest weight was 310... she every here and there just had to go "Wow, 18 pounds.. I can see it... 18 pounds, that's great", without prompt. It's been nice. It doesn't FEEL like much when you're heavy... I know someone 350+ would scoff at me, thinking 310 isn't so heavy, or a 400 or a 500, but we can relate because there's such a large number to be lost, that 18 barely feels worth celebrating.

Went grocery shopping and got myself vanilla almond milk.. I know, sugar is really bad... I got it because I'm lactose and already hate milk, but know I should have an alternative.... There's another milk called Carb Master, that's low sugar, 10-12g protein.. I should have grabbed that... live and learn, though.

Spoiled myself with my paycheck and also got all bills tended to, next pay onwards is rent and necessities but for my hard work, used my first pay with this new job to spoil myself.... No my husband isnt even mad...whenever we have spare money, my first thought is what do we need for the house, or what can we do or get as a family, not 'what do I want for ME'. I got a new phone, ordered a nail kit so I can apply my own nails....2 new games for the Nintendo switch....

i love my new phone but I can't switch to it until my new case and screen protector is mailed because I'm not risking damaging that pretty thing! 16megapixels for selfie cam, 24mp for the rear camera. 4000 battery. Yessssssssss~
