Wed 4/1 social distancing

I have to tell you about an incident with lack of social distancing. Hubby and I went shopping this past Saturday, and it was time for lunch. We went to Sone's in Kukui Grove because the Deli and Bread place was closed. It's so sad to see most of the shops closed except for a few food businesses. I'm not sure how long they can survive. Anyway, in Sone's, they observe the 6 foot distancing. So we got some food from there. Then we went to Ho's Chinese Kitchen where the sign on the window said one ohana at a time. Ohana is family. Anyway, we saw a family in the restaurant, and we waited outside for our turn. While waiting, this lady comes close to us, and we had to tell her about social distancing. The family in the restaurant left, and then it was our turn. I went in to place our order (sorry, I didn't call in my order), so while placing my order, this other lady walks in to the counter, close by me to see what they had in the showcase. I had to tell her "Hey, social distancing. You need to wait outside." My husband was flabbergasted that I had to say that. But she was almost right next to me. Wow, some folks don't read the signs on the windows. Especially now with all that's going on, one should be looking at the signs. My hubby had a good laugh when we went home and told our daughter about the incident. Hey, it's better to be safe than sorry.
Have a great hump day!
