Compassion

I know that everyone is being bombarded with the kinds of messages I try to share.
Still, it’s harder and harder to work through anxiety and fear. It’s harder and harder to see silver linings.
It’s harder and harder to find things to be grateful for. It’s also easier. Because if there is shadow, there must be light.
I am going to encourage you to continue to work through that anxiety, to look for the nuggets of positive and to find things for which you can be grateful.
Because these are the things that will see us through.
Remember, if you are struggling, you have people who care about you, not least of all your friends at SparkPeople.
Reach out. We are meant to help buoy and bolster each other…we’ve done it in the better times, let’s continue to do so in the difficult ones.
I read this in a book I am cataloging. It is from DC Brave & Bold! : Female DC Super Heroes Take on the Universe by Sam Maggs.
“In troubled times, the most noble thing in the world is to care about others.” – Sam Maggs
Thank you for caring about the world, each other, and yourself.
