These days I have more energy than I have had in several years. As a result my outlook is more positive as well. It doesn't really bother me too much that my weight loss is slower than it was at the beginning because I feel successful already.
My motivation for losing weight was more about feeling better and getting healthier. Ideally, I would like to lose another 10 pounds and then maintain that but I realize that may or may not happen and that would be ok. It is not as exciting as getting on the scale and seeing another pound gone but that is just one moment of "YES I did it". The feeling of well being stays with me all day and that is success.
