Times are challenging. I heard last night Kentucky might close the borders against Tennessee. That would not be good for me since I live in Kentucky but I'm in Tennessee. So my future is up in the air.
I don't drive so I have had to depend on my bffs across the street. They've been lifesavers for me. Yesterday he took me to the lawyer's office to sign papers. Last week he took me to the funeral home, the Dollar General and to the health department. Tonight all three of us went to the grocery store. I was pleased with the things I got there. We stopped at the Dollar General Store on the way back and got lucky as they were setting up a toilet paper display. So I was able to get toilet paper.
I managed to get avocados, apples, bananas and tomatoes. Also the usual milk, eggs and bread that goes quickly. Plus a few other things. That apple I just ate tasted so good. It was nice to have fresh fruit again.
I talked to my son tonight. He was on his way to work. They called him in two hours early. So he drove in severe thunderstorms with tornado warnings all the way there. He made it safely.
I'm in Tennessee and some of the people are taking this pandemic seriously and others aren't. I'm staying at home and only getting out to go.to the store. When I'm out I'm keeping the 6 foot distance from people.
I hope you all are safe. Take care of yourselves. Sending you all love and hugs and prayers
