Yes, I used to keep powdered milk when I had my bread maker, but I sold it in the estate sale, I can just add half hour to the cook-time. I still had some Dannon left.. the creaminess in that is from additives, but I still enjoy my yogurt. Thanks for the milk suggestion. It is actually in the instruction book for the machine, but I would never use a five-pound box of it.
We are possibly getting hail today with a severe storm, so it is now laundry day.
I am roasting a chicken for dinner, then using the leftovers for chicken noodle soup tomorrow.
DD will not eat homemade soup, so I will keep the batch small.. I have sliders to put in it, so it will be very hearty. I reserved all of my celery scraps with leaves for the broth seasonings.
Patsy and Dan are staying on Mustang Island until at least the end of April now. The island is isolated now, but a couple went to Costa Rica and brought back the virus, but are self-isolated. No other cases there.
Nick and Monika are working on the sailboat, she sent me a pic of him with the starboard tank that he just made. It tested out for three days holding at 3psi, so they are progressing, but have stopped making a launch date. They will go when it is safe to go. They are working on the aft cabin, but she said that most of their supplies come from Amazon, which is backed up, obviously, so they are just doing what they can with what they have on site.
The hens are back to normal production now.
We are all ready for another game day! She is no longer flying, has no virus symptoms, so that is great news.
