Day 86: Colorado is Closed

"Just because I laugh a lot, doesn't mean my life is easy. Just because I have a smile on my face every day, doesn't mean that something is not bothering me. I just choose to move on, and not dwell on all the negatives in my life. Every new moment gives me the chance to renew anew. I choose to be that." (Author Unknown)
Day #14 Isolation
Mood: Still Annoyed
Hello, my lovely friends!
Well it happened, the whole state is now on lockdown. It amazes me how many people don’t listen and think they can go to the parks and play basketball. The weather has been so beautiful outside and everyone wants to be out in it. Oh speaking of crazy things. So all the golf courses are shut down except the one across the street from us. Why do you ask? Because our mayor lives in our community and wants to keep it open. What??? They have a restaurant that someone on our community page went to pick up food and noticed all the cars and then saw the golf course was packed with people golfing. Come on man!
I just can’t with stupid people anymore. I mean doesn’t your life matter? This is going to spread like a wildfire if we all don’t listen to what the experts are telling us. It’s simple stop being so selfish and think of other people. Did you hear that they consider Starbucks essential? Really you need that coffee so much? I know mist of you are feeling just as frustrated with people. I watched someone on Youtube just take a drive up to the mountains and met some friends up there. I was like no you people need to stay home.
We’re running low on veggies and for a moment I thought about running to the store to buy some things, but then another thought passed in my head. If I go then I would have to self-quarantine myself from my mom for two weeks just for some veggies? I think not. I’ve been online trying to put an order together but even the veggies are sold out right now in places.
We talked to my aunt and grandpa yesterday and all three are doing great. They’ve actually been on lockdown for three weeks now. My aunt went to the bank and in the drive-up there were about thirty cars. My uncle told his mom he won’t be going down her house anymore because his sister won’t stay home. She went up to the casinos and hanging out with friends and he can’t go over there and possibly bring something back to my grandpa. I’m glad they’re keeping him safe.
My sister also called and she’s a little stir-crazy, but she’s been staying home. While cleaning she found some Christmas presents that she forgot she had for the boys.
All is good over here. I hope things are going good where you’re at.
Stay safe. Big hugs and loves to you all!
