For things to do tomorrow, Thursday, March 26th. Soup is on the list. Got potatoes, got instant mashed potato flakes, got most of the other items on the list. Soup is on the agenda for the afternoon.
An experiment to see if I can manage to do stuff if it's written down, in pencil, no less. Don't worry, that particular writing utensil has no eraser.
In a random headspace this early morn (started scribbling this at ~1240 AM). Decided I'd finish the last hundred fifty odd pages of the book I was reading, and did so, a day later than I expected, but 7 days before it was due. So I went back to openlibrary.org and grabbed the next book in the series. Made it about 5 pages in before reconsidering diving right in to the next chapter of the story tonight.
Listening is similarly random. I learned a couple of very interesting things tonight, like the fact that Peter Gabriel originally wanted Dolly Parton to sing his song "Don't Give Up" with him. She turned him down, and he turned to Kate Bush...and I can't imagine anyone doing a better job on this haunting track from one of my top 5 favorite albums.

The 80s informed my listenings earlier in the day, too, what with asking Alexa to play an album by Journey. It picked a Best Of album, and I'm glad it did, because past the better known tunes by that band, it eventually got to the song, "Be Good to Yourself", a sentiment that is important to remember, and practice during times like these.

The rest of the evening passed with items related tangentially to Kate Bush. Looking up the wiki page for Steven Wilson's album "To The Bone", it mentioned that work being influenced by Bush and Tears for Fears and Talk Talk. As I've listened to Tears for Fears quite a bit this week, and the Bush album wasn't available for free on Amazon music, I listened to the Talk Talk album, "Colour of Spring", and I'd listen to it again sometime. And then, clicking onto Bush's wiki page, i saw that the rapper Big Boi cites her "The Dreaming" album among his favorites, so naturally a trip to Stankonia (2000 album by his group Outkast) was in order.
Going to sleep now. Let's see how much of that list I accomplish tomorrow. I'll be happy as long as soup gets done. Or if I hit half the ten item list aside from soup. Those are my modest goals for Thursday.
