sending out a virtual hug---
Well, this AM I heard that Prince Charles has --"the virus"---
That means that I shall not be visiting Buckingham Place , at least for now--

CBC T.V., was talking about Air Canada flights from Peru, and they interviewed a passenger who said she knew she had the virus, but hid it, so she could board the plane for Canada.
I was telling son#2 the Air Canada Pilot, and he said, "No Mom, that was my last flight from London, England."
" No, i'm pretty sure that this woman was on a flight from Peru," I told him.
Well, anyway, as it turned out , we were both right.
I guess people just will do anything to get back home.
So, he has been self quarantined for quite some time now, at home, as well as his wife and child--not flying--either of them!

Nobody should be flying right now---As son #2 says, "They are on every flight Mom."
The airline industry is suffering---It is sad to see the planes on the ground, lined up----

Now back to "the hair"---- finally my hairdresser has decided to close up shop for now---
Lord love a Duck! --- eventually the ponytail will be back in style---

Or---we might all look like this!

Lucky for me my hair is just wash and go! Things are going at least a little better here. My son went to the grocery store today, and said that they have everything now.....except toilet paper. It may be a long time before inconsiderate people stop hoarding it. :-(

I try to not get angry at people who know they are sick but still go out. Everyone just wants to be comfortable but your comfort should not be at my expense.

I was blow-drying my hair the other day, and my husband asked me why. Reminded me no one else was going to see it, so let it dry naturally!

It's sad how selfish some people are!! I am praying that your son and his family do not contract the virus.

I am thinking of letting my hair grow out anyways, my neighbor is my hairdresser, so if I choose not to, I'll still be okay to get it whacked off!

It's terrible what people will do sometimes just to get attention. I'd read of a woman who went into a store here somewhere here in Kentucky and PURPOSELY coughed all over the open produce and anything else she could. The manager had no choice but to throw out over $35,000.00 worth of food because of her negligence. All of it was to get attention. The police say she is a regular issue in the town.

By the way, my husband has that hairstyle right now. He won't get it cut since I'm over 500 miles away from him. He probably wouldn't cut it if I were there. emoticon MEN!!

Virtual hug right back to you. emoticon It's sad how people are willing to put so many others at risk by flying when they know they are sick. A major inconvenience to them to have to quarantine in another country, but consider how many other have to quarantine because of their actions. Just wrong on so many levels.

We were ordered back to Canada by iur government, and screening before the flight was s joke. Worse was the complete absence of sanitizer any where at Pearson, or anyone cleaning touch screens. As far as hair goes, I wear pony tails all the time ..

emoticon 3-26-2020 My hair guy's shop closed. But he invited me to his home (we can visit people with up to 9 people) & he did my hair last Monday (just the 2 of us). He cut it VERY short (for me), just in case. Our state NV isn't on total lock down, yet. But I have been VERY careful or not going out for several weeks, now. Washing hands, masks, gloves, hat, etc.... I put hand sanitizer on top of the gloves & mask, too. Just as an extra protection. So when I DO have to venture out, I can feel a little safer. I have been keeping 10 feet away for everyone, again for several weeks.Check out GINASPARKS3 blogs. She has been living through it for several months, GREAT info! Once I started reading her, I immediately followed her advise. At first people thought I was weird, they don't now!

I think THE most important thing to do for our health is to 'play', whatever that means for you! emoticon emoticon . I've been taking photos around our yard; editing photos; cleaning closet spaces; cooking & trying new recipes; coming to Spark land more often, etc. Finding the JOY in life, as it changes, daily! How about you? emoticon Stay happy! emoticon

I hope that your family stays healthy, and all is well with you and Himself.

On the hair note, I took it upon myself to cut my hair. Now my husband and I are sporting similar hairstyles, I just have more hair than he does. A friend saw my picture and called me GI Jane.

I always grow mine out for winter. I usually get it cut every couple years and donate it. Was planning to get it cut for summer this year as it is pretty long. We will see. I am so tired of people putting everyone at risk because they are only thinking of themselves.

Am happy that more planes are not flying - we need to stop all that travelling to control this virus

As for the hair, yes I agree there will be a lot of long hair -just read an article this morning that says that if Canada can control this by July would be good but they are expecting a second wave of it to hit sometime in September - so guess we will be in lockdown for longer than a lot of people thing - hubby and I are prepared for it - he is the only one going out for groceries every 1 - 2 weeks and have set up online grocery shopping where we can purchase the food online and then pick it up - they will put it into the car without him being in contact with anyone - think we will be doing that kind of shopping for a long time - at least for now

It is scary to think that people will foolishly lie about their symptoms and put other people in danger. These people should definitely be charged with something and should not be allowed to hide their faces when they are being interviewed

Unfortunately, I think that there are too many people who think that this virus is no big deal and they choose to go on as though there is no crisis out there. This is unlike anything that we have ever seen before and each of us must rise to the occasion.

I am happy to hear that Prince Charles is not that sick at this point, but I really worry about his mom, the Queen having been exposed to him and all the others in the family and with whom he has met in the last two or three days before his diagnosis. Last night on our news we had some video clips of him trying to remember not to shake hands and instead doing a namaste but his expression showed a different side from the serious man we often see on the news.

Please keep on doing all you can to keep yourself and Himself well and healthy. emoticon
