A slow, easy one

These rock irises are currently blooming in my mother’s flower garden.
So, today was the first day since last Wednesday that things returned to a somewhat less stressful state. The repairs have been made to the house, and we have heat once more. So, it was a slow and easy day today. I did make some business related phone calls this morning, but the results made me happy, so they were fairly low stress. I walked the dogs repeatedly despite the rain... much to the Cooper-dog’s disgust! Tigan and I made lunch for the four of us. And my brother put in office hours online and over the phone from the dining room table for half the day. I did take one long walk just myself and the Cooper-dog. I am walking over 10,000 steps a day most days since I have been at my dad’s. With 2 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus in our sleepy village now, it has become all the more important to practice social distancing and remaining in isolation as much as possible. I am just glad that I am at my dad’s house and not in my apartment alone and lonely. Thank goodness for family!
