Winter into Spring In-Between Challenge

My most recent blogs were summaries of my weekly goals for the 2020 Winter 5% Challenge which ended two weeks ago. They were not the stuff of a featured blog here on Spark People.
Even though I was blogging for my own accountability, several of my teammates as well as other Sparkers took the time to comment and encourage me. When I stopped those weekly blogs after 5 of the 8 weeks of the challenge, there were no negative consequences or expectations for me to explain. That's just one of the reasons I'm sticking with the 5% Seasonal Challenge Community.
Another great reason to stay with these friends and supporters is that I don't have to feel disappointed or embarrassed because I did not make my weight loss goal of 5%. In fact, I've yet to do so in any of these challenges, but whether I lose or maintain, and sometimes gain, I'm still a valued member of the team. I'm welcomed back to try again.
Right now I'm participating with some of my teammates in a less-structured, more personalized in-between challenge. I love it, because it keeps me logging my daily exercise and I'm able to choose a life style goal to work on making a positive habit.
It's great to have this build-up time as I prepare to join the community for the multi-team 2020 Spring 5% Challenge. I've been with the team known as the Walkers, Runners, Joggers, and Gadgeteers, since joining, but I know that the other teams are also welcoming and supportive.
