So, you know that I use the S.T.A.N. Plan, right? And that is an acronym created from my name, Stan. It means :Simple Trackable Achievable Necessary. I created it years ago, and have helped others using it. I've also helped them create their own, using their names.
But I'm going down a rabbit hole... so I'll stop. The whole point of this post is to demonstrate how easy it is.
We have two homes. One in Atlanta, and one in Middle Georgia. Because of Covid-19, it's a sure bet both will be on lockdown. So we are now in our Middle Georgia digs. I don't have a treadmill, elliptical, or any other cardio machine here. I do substitute some yard work for them. If you don't think that qualifies, then put a 50 lb bag of manure on your shoulder. Now carry it about 40 yards. Then repeat that as many times as you need to. I assure you that your pace will quicken (because of the smell). And your heart rate will increase.
Another rabbit hole - I'll jump over it.
Since I need cardio, I made a quick plan. Our subdivision streets form an 8. Each section is a mile long. One has four miles while the other is mostly flat. So I made a quick plan.
S - Simple - Walk each one separately.
T - Trackable - Time each section seperatly
A - Achievable - Improve your initial speed until you are at 25 minutes for the two mile trek.
N - Necessary - Well...uhmm.. yeah. I need cardio.
Easy to remember. The S.T.A.N. Plan still working for me. If you want one for yourself, drop your name in the comments. I'll try.
Timer's Up. Gotta go
Peace, Love, and Understanding.
I'll C-y'all down the road.
