The Snowball Affect
Sunday, March 08, 2020
Uh oh! Must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed today! We’ve said that at some point, right? Metaphorically speaking, if there is a wrong side of the bed, then there must be a ‘right’ side!
Ok-we lost an hour of sleep-but will cash in later.
And though it is supposed to be spring in a few days, snow still falls in some parts of the country.
Ever notice how when something leaves us feeling 'out of sync', a problem of snowball size can turn into a mountain the more we focus on it? We look at tasks or problems and watch the snowball gain in size and momentum. We wake up to the cold, remember it is tax season and we have to get everything ready! Not to mention, it is time to start spring cleaning once again! Seem like we just put the Christmas decorations put away.
Since there is an apparent right side of the bed and a wrong side, how can we maintain calm today and every day? But on a positive note--Have all our stuff ready to take for our upcoming appointment with the CPA; have a major jump on my spring cleaning--which I have been taking one day at a time--and one room at a time. It's all good.
So, enjoy your morning coffee or tea and gather your thoughts as you begin to wake up. If it's snow flurries instead of sunshine or the time change rocks your boat, remember it will pass and soon we will have:
Blue skies, beautiful trees and flowers in bloom! ....
..Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!
