Thursday Night Dinner

Thursday, March 05, 2020

Every Thursday night the Senior Citizen Community Center sponsors a dinner for the community free of charge for whoever wants to come in and sit down and eat. Each week the dinner is sponsored by a different group of people. They even have a live band there to entertain all of us who come through the door.

Tonight's menu was pulled pork, baked beans, mustard potato salad, coleslaw, dinner roll, and dessert. It was a good meal and very filling. After my friends and I ate we went into the other room and listened to the band until 7 pm when they stopped playing.

Below is a picture of the band. I did do a video but my phone is telling me that it's too large to send so it will have to wait for another time when I figure it out. If anyone knows how to get the videos downloaded to my computer, please let me know.

I know that it was hoedown, country music but it was beautiful and I was amazed by that HUGE base fiddle!!!!
