Learning About My Body

Thursday, March 05, 2020

I am in maintenance. Today I was 159. I was 160 yesterday. My maintenance weight is 155. I had made it to 155 a few days ago and went up to 160. That was after my free eating day. I recognize that one of the Mesomorph's traits is to gain weight easily. I also can lose weight easily. So it is a matter of balance. I am still working with it, to see what works.

I believe too much carb intake definitely has a quick affect on m y body and how it stores fat. I ate high on protein percentage yesterday and lost a pound, basically doing what I always do.

I will keep a close eye on everything to see what is consistent

Thank you Lord for wisdom

I am so proud of you! I am trying to lose over 100 lbs. I started at 333.lbs. I weigh 326.2 right now. I am on oxygen. My doctor believes if I lose this weight I will be able to get off oxygen. Do you have any tips or good recipes? Keep up the good work.

Maintenance is a balance and you said it so well: learning about my body. Yes!

One of the things I've learned during my weight maintenance experience is what 'normal' weight fluctuation looks like for my body. Fluctuations outside that range throw up caution flags and often indicate an underlying issue is emerging.

Sounds like you are aware and paying attention which will serve you well! And, you're grateful for the blessings of wisdom!!!

Congratulation on reaching maintenance! We share a similar body type. I find that carbs, especially sweets cause me to gain weight quickly. On the other hand, when I reduce these items the weight drops accordingly. Keep up the great work and keep on Sparking
