working late

Thursday, March 05, 2020

Well I guess I had two lite workout days. I have a hard time getting my exercise in earlier in the day. I used to be really good at getting up early and exercising. I took the veterans to a Steelheads Hockey game to night and didn't get off work till 10:20 pm, so I'm up late again. Not sure how I will do next week after time change. Does clapping and dancing around at a hockey came count as exercise?

A rest and relaxation day is important to give your body a chance to to make use of the healthy food and exercise--just don't quit. Take a lite and easy fun day about once a week to allow your body to heal and consolidate the benefits of the other six days heavier exercise. That doesn't mean do nothing, just do less and keep it fun. Whooping it up for the team sounds great to me--one of the most vital health habits we can have is joy and laughter. Celebrate, you have my permission (5 cents, please}.

Why not? Even walking up and down the steps at the arena between periods is helpful. Just keep making daily appointments of at least 10 minutes of movement and you will succeed and feel so much better. emoticon
