Today after water aerobics, I joined six ladies from my class for lunch at a Mexican restaurant. In my quest to stave off bad eating this week, I ignored the chips and salsa on the table. My beverage Of choice was water with lime. My entree was grilled chicken on a bed of lettuce and tomatoes. Instead of salad dressing, I used a wedge of lime and a dollop of salsa on my salad. I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation with my water buddies, and I came away feeling proud of my efforts.
