Keto Day 2

I just got home from band practice and it's 11:30 pm, so it's gonna be a short blog today. Overall things went very well, after I was warned that I might start feeling tired on Day 2 or 3. Instead of going skiing I opted to take a nice walk around the property and the woods. Felt really good to see spring almost here, bluebirds working on their new nest, crocus and snow drops in full bloom.
Weighed myself this morning and was surprised to see I was down 2.8 pounds! I'm sure this is mostly water weight... got to remember to drink lots of water and electrolyte drinks to avoid dehydration and the "Keto flu" in the next couple of weeks. Did some research on vitamins and minerals this morning... too many to list here, but got some good ideas on low carb options for getting most of the daily requirements. Also want to keep up with a daily multi-vitamin, fish oil, calcium, etc.
- Breakfast: spinach & cheese omelete (one egg) plus 1/2 breakfast sausage & coffee with cream
- Lunch: green salad with warmed steak, EVOO & apple cider vinegar dressing, extra avocados
- Dinner: turkey hamburger stroganoff, zucchini noodles (turned out really well!)
I wasn't hungry until around 10:30 tonight, as I was riding home from practice. Had more of today's dinner as a snack. So far, so good...
