Day 1 - March 1rst - Am I losing my Mind?

Sunday, March 01, 2020

SP tracking was the method I used to lose 30 lbs in 2017. After my concussion on October 27 2017 I stopped tracking and within a year and gained 28 lbs back. I was told no reading, TV or computers for 6 months with the brain injury. I need to get a grip and start all over again. My triglycerides are high and so is cholesterol. I saw another new doctor who agreed NO CRESTOR and prescribed. VASCEPA. I need to confess. I just got up to read the label so I could reveal what drug was prescribed, then instead of coming back here to write VASCEPA, I went outside in 30 degrees with no shoes on, pulled in the laundry left outside overnight, and then emptied the washing machine into a basket, then heated more coffee, and came back to sofa & lap top, and had forgotten I was on SP site. I saw I never finished this post, and had to get up and go back to kitchen to look up the name VASCEPA,again. I'm worried. Yes I need to track food intake. I made an appt all by myself for a complete neurological work up at a very excellent hospital in the next county over. I go on March 26th Feeling shaky and nervous about my condition. I have no close person to confide in. My friend Dotty died last May. People honestly don't care about my state of health in my family. I need to get this right this time. I was 59 when I started SP. I'll be 70 on April 11th. May this landmark year be a wake up call.

I'm sorry about your concussion and brain injury. I think you're very wise to go for a complete neurological work up just to see if there are issues that the doctor can help you with.

I'm so sorry your friend, Dotty, died last year. It must be very difficult to lose someone you were close to and were able to confide in. I'm sorry your family isn't as supportive, but it's good that you are being an advocate for yourself and getting checked out by a neurologist. It can't hurt and it may very well help.

I wish you all the very best.
