Accepting Victory

Thursday, February 27, 2020

Victories come in all types, sizes, shapes, and variations. What is to someone may be a small victory is to another a grand victory. I feel like putting a label on a victory such as when I say to myself that, "Oh, I made it to the gym today," and turn around and say to myself that it is a small victory that I am downplaying that it is a victory. I have conquered this stop on my my journey to becoming a healthier and happier me. I may think that it is a small victory, but some days it takes more motivation than others to get me there, or I can be eager to get my work out on, or I may just be blah about the whole thought (I mean blankets, couch, wine & a book..geez let me think about this for a moment...there's a contest here?! emoticon). The fact is that it is a victory and should be viewed as a victory. I wish everyone many victories along their journeys to health and happiness. emoticon Keep smiling emoticon
