Wacky Wednesday

Wednesday, February 26, 2020

Well, here it is Wednesday and it has been a real ride the last couple of days, and still on that band wagon yet this afternoon. Yesterday, we called the plumber cause something was leek down in the basement, so he was here, then the auctioneer guy was here who does on-line auction, to put pictures of the grain Tender that Larry wants to sell, and then the Culligan man was also here. He loves Duke and Merlin and loves to spend extra time here. And then this morning had to go over and pick up a prescription, pick up a few groceries,Wednesdayand go to our insurance gal and go over all our insurance coverage, as it has gotten so expensive, so we found some things to lower the coverage, and some machinery we don't have anymore, so did get it dropped a few $100 dollars. Then got home and our tax office called and said our taxes were ready, and we needed to come over and sign them and they got to be in the mail by the !st of March, so now this afternoon we have to go 20 miles the other direction and take care of that. YOu all know the feeling, you have nothing on the calendar and all of a sudden you meet yourself on the road somewhere. It's crazy.

My missions of the day have certainly gone out the window, AGAIN. But, hopefully I can selvage something for the day. 1. is Find a recipe you want to try, well, that is not going to happen, as supper (dinner) is already planned, and (lunch) was a cup of coffee and a Protein drink. 2. Read uplifting quotes, well that is a maybe. And as far as my Cleaning schedule, it will just be daily picking up, and nothing big.

Going to let you all go, and sorry I have no chicken for you. Take care and have a GET day. Linda

Yes, some days are like that. I am glad my CPA does everything online, no signatures required except our hard copies for files.
I am still waiting for my return,, it has been over two weeks since I had them prepared. I am glad you could save some money on your insurance and get those tax things squared away!

Sounds like some of the days we get. Hope all went well on the taxes. Do you take your new car when you head out like that?

As a retired Texas Insurance agent among other things- inflation, 25-50% more claims now plus lawsuits probably not by you but by others. Fraud - get something for just filing a claim.

We all have days like that. I'm entering the busy accompanying season (concerts and contests), so every day it's "where do I have to be today?". I hope that you are able to accomplish some of what you want to do today.

LOL, isn't that the way it goes, you have all those plans and all you need is one wrench in the works to totally re-do your day for you. You did a lot even though it wasn't what you planned, and I hope the plumber solved that problem. We're having the electrician out to the condo AGAIN this weekend after two failed inspections. Makes you wonder. BTW, I renamed my blog "Remembering a past Ash Wednesday" so it's clearer that it's not today. Hope you didn't think I'd lost my job! emoticon

Busy, busy, busy day! Truly understandable. Do what you have to and come home and relax. Time to do this all over tomorrow.

    Take care.
