DAY 11- WHAT?
Wednesday, February 26, 2020
This is day eleven of the last leg of my journey. Eleven days ago I decided I needed to be at 155 instead of 165 as my final goal. I am 156.8 today. One pound away from my goal weight.
It's amazing. All the gained weight must be water weight because I have lost 12 pounds in 11 days. I know I have a good metabolism, but eating 1200 calories a day does not add up to a pound lost a day. However, my measurements also show a loss, so. . . I do know that if I overeat, I gain, and if I don't I lose.
I did get down to below 155 before and didn't hold it. Recently, I got up to over 168, because I had started back to binge eating and letting 'Gluttony" take over once again. I realized I was losing control. If I didn't stop I would gain all the 133 (total 145) pounds I had lost and be right back to where I started So, I decided I would get down to 155 and maintain there. That way I had some wiggle room.
IF, CHANGE OF DIET, EXERCISE
I have been doing IF (Intermittent Fasting) two ways. I do 8/16. I eat my 1200 calories 5 days a week within 8 hours and fast 16 hours. On Monday's I water fast for 24 hours (both a physical and spiritual fast). On Sunday's I eat what I want, as much as I want. I have also upped my protein intake. I 'm slowly implementing the "Protein Power" plan. I have also started the 30 day beginner exercise plan from Lumowell. I am sure all of this plays a part in how fast I am losing too. I guess I'd better be glad. It is all working.
I am a devoted Christian, so I do believe God answers prayers. He has always answered mine. I have prayed for guidance, the spirit of self-control, and a healthy metabolism. He has given me what I asked for. I am grateful.
