Celebrities Question!

Wednesday, February 26, 2020

On my team, Shooting Stars there was a Question Of The Day involving celebrities and I have met some soap stars and I hope that counts. I think it does. Here is my response:

I don't know if soap opera stars count but if they do, then yes. When I was in college I went to a Guiding Light fan club event and Robert Newman who played Josh sat at our table and we had a lot of fun. I also got to talk to Kim Zimmer who played Reva for a few minutes. Also Cynthia Watros who played Annie a little. But the most incredible moment was last May when I met Nancy Lee Grahn who plays Alexis on General Hospital. We had dinner and I got to talk to her for a while and she was very gracious to all her fans.

It got me all excited remembering these things.

Anyway had a pretty good day yesterday and it was so slow at work that I got to read a few chapters of my book Becoming by Michelle Obama. It's not bad. I have been hiding the cover though because I don't want any political fights at work of all places! I guess I could even take the cover off! Just thought of that right now.

I was feeling sick on Sunday to Monday because of a stomach bug of some sort. It must have been a 24 hour bug because it is all gone now. I exercised for 20 minutes last night although I did do what my mom suggested about taking it easy.

Hope everyone has a great day today! Happy Hump Day!

Years ago when my daughter was younger we went to a dance convention in Pittsburgh. The Young and Restless was shooting there and the kids met a couple of the stars at the hotel. They were so nice to the kids showing them the limo. It's always nice when we meet someone who can bring a smile to our face later! Enjoy your day and thanks for sharing!
