2/25/20 - cleaning out horse trailer
Tuesday, February 25, 2020
Yesterday my mom and I started the task of cleaning out the horse trailer that my aunt used for storage of a crazy amount of horse stuff. I swear there were 20 or more buckets of all kinds, 30 or so halters and lead ropes and just sooooo much stuff. So we are planning to donate a lot of it to Wings of Hope, a place that does horse therapy for kids in need that my aunt had volunteered at a few times and loved. We got the back of the trailer done but not the tack room. The tack room will be harder as it is more personal stuff. But still just soooo much stuff that we won’t ever use especially since we won’t be doing horse shows or anything. I’m going to go again Thursday and hopefully we can get that area done next. Then we have to totally empty it out and take the trailer to get it inspected and cleaned really well. Lots of work! My mom made us yummy tuna salad on a big salad yesterday so that was good too.
Today my husband and I have to go downtown to the social security office to try to get a copy of my aunt’s social security so we can get her taxes done. So crazy that we have to still do taxes even after someone dies. And that they make it difficult and won’t just send us the forms. But we are going to make the best of it and eat lunch down town while we are there anyways and try to have some fun at same time.
Hope everyone has a great day!
