Catching things early makes always a difference. I still have a slight cough, no surprise those things don't go away lightly. My congestion is gone though. I rely on natural and homeopathic medicine, so catching things early is also vital. I also got a lot of rest these two last days.

My weight is yo-yo-ing up and down 2 to 3 lbs. So naturally, I am not happy there. I am making a bit more effort this week to get a grip there. 6000 steps are on the agenda this week. I know I can do that because they creep their way into my week already. Hubby wants to go walking with me today. I love when he does, but it also irritates me. He stops so many times to look at something or pick something up at the side of the road. While it is great that he picks up trash and throws it in the next trashcan we pass, it also breaks your stride when you are walking. I guess we can't have it all.

I like to walk early in the morning because no one stops to chat with you. Some are really chatty.

It's nice that you guys have an opportunity to walk together! I understand your frustration about having your nice stride interrupted, though. At least your DH is bending and stretching to get that garbage, making your walk a more beautiful one. I'm afraid my DH is more likely to stop for 5-10 minutes and talk to every person we pass in the neighborhood. While it's great that he's so friendly, it doesn't work for getting my heart rate up!
