odd flu musings

Monday, February 17, 2020

Tribbles pile up around me (in the form of wadded tissues).
I want a Barion sweep for my house!
I became the M113 monster for at least 4 days.
At the doctor, I hoped for a Tricorder exam, but got a long swab jammed up my nose instead! Oh, the indignity!
And for about 6 days I felt like I was only partially materialized after a transporter malfunction, just partially here and partially...somewhere else.

Why do I always think of these mixed series references when I'm emoticon ?! I guess I want life to be like that world... emoticon

Only some of you will have the foggiest idea what I'm talking about :)

lol oh dear that is one of my fears of transporters! Always think that they would be awesome for visiting family across the country or escaping the bad weather for a while. I wonder how they would help with flu and colds? wouldn't it be grand if you could delete viruses with them? Or would you risk contaminating with every cell you pass through? Idk! Hugs and sorry I have not been around much. My daughter is doing very well and had an art show (not well attended) and was asked to do some artwork for zenes (online magazines) but she says not well pursued. Oh well. We are almost ready to put the B&B up for sale and have had a couple of people walk through. Today a neighbour congratulated me for selling... but it must be a rumour as we have had no offers yet. Too funny. Life goes on!

That sounds about what my head feels like when I need to take sinus meds - it's still attached, but at the same time it feels like it's about 10 feet off to the left somewhere and seeing things totally differently.
I get all the references - Sci-fi geek here :) emoticon emoticon

The mind is an amazing thing -- and especially when we are running a fever. I do hope your tissue tribbles aren't running around the house unchecked! They multiply so quickly. LOL
