How to give up fast food & eating out all the time

I’ve been struggling with this for awhile now, how do you stop eating out at fast food places all the time? Not only does it put weight on you, but also the cost builds up . A nice home cooked meal would be so much better & so much healthier, what are some tips to help avoid fast food, or even junk food, that’s my weakness and I know it’s not helping me.

    Meal prepping each week.Having healthy snacks in the house that you can grabs when you're hungry really helps. Meal prep foods that you can freeze and get out when needed. Bring your food from home and keep snacks at work to help when you're tempted to go out and get fast foods. Make foods that you can eat of for a few days. I have also had to have pep talks with myself to talk myself of the ledge when I wanted to give in to get fast foods and just junk foods period.

    I have incorporated all of the things on this journey and they all have been very helpful to me. I hope you find out what work best for you so you can overcome this habit.

    I have found baking a whole chicken for Sunday dinner provides extra main dish components for different meals on Monday and Tuesday. Also something like homemade chili for one meal and the next day make quesadillas with the left over chili, rice and all of the trimmings. Add your favorite salads and other veggies to your main dishes and you are set for the week.

    With children in the household, the simpler you can keep your cooking, the more time and energy you will have to enjoy your family!

    Picking up some frozen meals might be a good start on saving money. Add fruit and you've got meal + dessert. I'm usually too tired to cook after work, but I do some batch cooking on weekends that gets me through at least part of the week. Thanks for stopping by my blog.

    If you can make your own meals (portioned out), and freeze them ahead of time, that will help. Blessings for a wonderful week 🙏😇
