What a Week...

Friday, February 14, 2020

This week has been a blur of appointments, activities, and errands... all while trying to balance homeschool lessons and activities and DD14's job. We have an appointment to go to today as well.
DD14 sprained her ankle last Friday and is now in a boot. Her employer has been wonderful, working with her to let her keep a lot of her hours and making sure she stays safe while she's working.
DD14 wants to go to culinary school. She has been talking about ow she wants to start cooking healthier meals and eating right. So here I am, trying to learn, too, and helping her find recipes we would both want to try.

I certainly did not eat right, nor did I document this week. However, I did remember to take my medication, so there's that. I'm actually kinda surprised that I even remembered most of the things that have gone on this week- and that I'm not as stressed out any more than I had been.

I have joined several teams, but have not participated as of yet. I'm one of those people it takes a little time to warm up before I really begin feeling comfortable sharing my thoughts. I like to get a feel for the group- to see how supportive the other members are of each other, to see if they are welcoming. Of course, I've always been that way- in school, in church. Everyone wants to feel as if they belong.

Going into this weekend, I know we have a few things planned, but it won't be nearly as busy as this week has been. Gotta keep trying...

We all just keep coming back. That's the path to success, no matter how zig zaggy.
