Yesterday was a long day.  I ended up working all day.  Really didn't feel great but wasn't as bad once I got to the store.  The store itself was very cold, their washroom was out of service due to no water which made for it to be even longer.

My sugar reduction plan is starting to take shape.  I have been taking the time the last few days, almost a week now just paying attention to how much extra sugar I consume and when I crave sugary treats. 

What I have learned so far is that I need to reduce the amount of sugar I am getting in my coffee, in the morning that is the only ting I can change. I never took the time to look at how much sugar is in half and half. Hubby and I are starting to think that it might be time to go back to getting some different flavoured coffees and drinking them black.

My next big problem area is that time in the late afternoon when I finally get a chance to sit down and relax and watch my soap.  I crave a treat.  The other time I need to work on is in the evening after dinner.  I want a treat again while watching tv. I need to work out a plan on what to have ready at those times that will satisfy me but also not have the sugar or extra calories that I don't need.

    Oh boy I know all about those sweet treats and how addictive sugar is. The flavoured coffees sound like a good idea but we drink instant because we are one cuppers. I quit putting sugar in coffee and tea when I quit smoking in 1993.
