exercise excuses (sparkcoach blog topic)

This one is hard for me because I'm not sure it applies at this point. I am working my butt off to make sure that I get a minimum of 30 minutes a day at the gym. I like seeing how long I can keep this streak going.
Yesterday I busted it but I made a conscious decision not to go. After church my family agreed to all go together to meet my husband in the hospital and had lunch in the cafeteria after. By the time I got home and changed into my workout clothes, my infant daughter was screaming her head off. With all the being passed around by grandparents, aunts, and uncles, she didn't get a desperately needed nap. She doesn't get upset easily and for her to be crying as hard as she was, she had to have been pretty tired. By the time I was ready to go, I would have had only 20 minutes to work out before the child watch closed if I left right then anyway. I had no reason for feeling guilty, my kids need to come first. My streak only lasted 13 days, which is actually pretty huge when you consider all the extra work it takes to keep it going with my husband in the hospital anyway. I'll be happy to beat it next time around.

Sounds like you are doing really well all things considered. If you have a baby carrier you might try some baby wearing workouts at home if your little one isn't in the mood for childcare. My almost one year old enjoys being worn while I workout!
