Last blog I said I would share a ‘little secret’ with you. I am busting at the seams—but not to worry- not literally. I have kept the 23 pounds off I lost and my clothes are still fitting well—lol.

I would like to start by thanking Chris Downey—known as Spark Guy for sharing his spark, which lit my flame in ways I had not thought of. I am happy to announce I am now a published author.

Spark Guy, well known for igniting dreams into reality with one tiny spark tells of his marvelous idea of ‘Criss cross effect’ to success. I thought about that, and loved that he was saying, we can reach for our goals, but let each goal spill over onto another. I saw how we can have more than one goal, and they can dovetail into the other. In my own words, like five fingers on a hand, each finger has a purpose but works together.

Spark Guy, the site, and all of you in the community continually inspire me. I wish to thank all of you for your love and support and helping my dream come true!

In mid-January of 2019 I dared step out of my comfort zone and did something I had never done before! I could not see the result, but with the confidence I gained in my eight year on sparks, I believed.

I was story telling of some of my earlier adventures in life while my husband listened attentively. I remember saying, “Gee-I ought to write a book!”

“You should,” he said. That was the first spark.
And so, I began scribbling thoughts on a pad and began my memoir. At first, I thought, where do I begin and how will I write enough for an entire book?
I have never been to the moon but taking those first steps felt as if I went air born.
My primary objective for writing was to inspire others going through difficulties who need encouragement for their life’s’ journey. I overcame incredible perilous challenges and became a victor rather than a victim.

On November 13, 2019 at precisely 3:13 I finished my final edit and sent it off.
A tiny spark ignited my flame! It is now published, and I am officially an Author.
I am thrilled and happy to say, dreams really can come true.

Last year I blogged a clip from chapter one of my book—called Abandoned. For those who did not read, or even if you would like to be refreshed, I am sharing the link to that blog.
To my spark friends and spark community—I thank you so much for the support you have given me! Your kindness kept my flame burning bright! Still feels pretty surreal, but I had better stop pinching myself to see if I am dreaming!

Thank you for letting me share my secret with you today!.... emoticon
