It's day six (?) of being back on Spark and week 2 of healthier eating habits.
Having retired in August hasn't really slowed life down any but I have found myself being far more sedentary since then. In addition to the unwelcome weight gain... I have found out that my cholesterol is now "slightly" elevated.
I'm kind of grateful as it's forced me to get more motivated about losing weight. My workout today was only 25 min on the treadclimber but I managed to kill 180 calories and it's a start. I am also getting more disciplined about entering everything I am eating. It's keeping me honest and mindful about what I'm putting in my mouth. Helps too when I input something and see the evidence if it's putting me over my count for the day.. helps me to resist it.
I'm hoping to find some new friends to connect with too.
