The two choices of blogging this week was exercising outside our working on puzzles and how great it is for the brain. I chose working outside. Reasoning the only puzzles I like are weird finds. I neither have the brains out patience for any other kind of puzzle.
However, working out outside doesn't appeal to my much either. When I was a kid we lived outside winter, summer ,spring, and fall. In the winter we went ice skating and walked3 blocks to the hill called big sieve. It had big jumps that would get you some serious air then we'd have to pull the sled back up the hill. We played outside till we couldn't feel our feet or fingers then go for hot chocolate. Best time ever. Built snow men. Snow forts. Snow tunnels. Now I hate winter. I hate being cold. The snow is pretty till about Christmas then it could be done. I'd move some where warm if it wasn't for family. When my son was around10 he was building a snow tunnel. It collapsed on him. If my husband at the time wasn't there I would never been able to get him out. He was near blue and unconscious. They had to get the snow plow to get the 4 wheel ambulance out to the house. One of the scariest moments of my life. Yeah I hate winter, snow, cold. And I'm definitely not going out there to work out on purpose. I shovel at because I have to. Rules for my grandkids. No snow forts\ tunnels.
