Post wedding recap

5 blissful days later and I'm no longer a bride but I have the distinct honor of being his wife and that is flipping phenomenal and awesome!:)
Wedding went off without a hitch, so much fun. So many great people, energies, pictures. Many said it was the best wedding that they'd ever been to because it was so uniquely us! I loved every single minute of it.
My mom cried when she first saw me. That was one of the most touching moments of my entire life. She kept toughing my dress and looking at me saying that she couldn't believe how beautiful I looked. She also called for the group to tell her why there was a movie star there at our venue (referring to me). :). All smiles!
She gave a beautiful delivery of the ceremony I created and gave a tearful heart-reaching speech towards the end, as did my father, brother, and most of our guests. It was magical to be surrounded by such an abundance of love.
Not once did I refer to my weight or size, although when my groom dipped me to capture the 'perfect kiss' (as my mom called it) I was a tad concerned but it was totally fine!
Looking back on the pics I am thrilled but definitely see that my continued journey of weightloss is important to me. However, this whole wedding journey has taught me that my complete happiness and joy is NOT defined or measured by my weight!
I definitely must live more in the blissful moment and think SOOOOO much less about my size. That doesn't mean I won't strive to make exercise a renewed priority but it means I will stop hindering my joy, exuberance, and splendiferousness due to being concerned about what I think or others may think about my girth. Bump that! Life is wayyyyy too precious.
Thanks Spark for providing me a venue to share!:)
