I'm back again to WIN.

Thursday, January 23, 2020

It's been a hard 3 years. Life always seems to throw those punches and get in the way. Last time I was on is when I was 57, now at 60 I'm back to try again. This time I am putting on the boxing gloves and I'm ready to fight back. Last March I lost my best friend and love. Every day is a challenge without him. We put up a good fight and even in the end he tried his best to comfort me. He was so brave. His words keep ringing in my ears, "We all have to die sometime" and he knew it was his time. We went on a long vacation together to his home in Barbados and he got to see one of his dreams come true before he left this world. This meant so much to him and I am so happy to have been able to give this to him. As I embark on this new challenge I have given to myself, I will keep his words of encouragement in my mind. Life I am ready, try your best because I'm ready for you. I will beat you this time. You will not discourage me, I AM STRONG, I WILL BEAT YOU.
