Persistence paid off

Thursday, January 23, 2020

We have been approved for 14 hours of CLS hours a week!!! Only took 5 years, 4 denials, and pulling in every agency I could to get it and tomorrow’s quest finding an agency that matches her schedule to provide the services. Today’s battle is round 2 of court proceedings. Today the judge will decide to allow his appeal of his plea bargain and having the case go to a trial. Our prosecutor is not backing down. His sentencing was 2 years probation and guilty of seducing an unmarried woman. If it goes to trial all 4 charges of sexual misconduct will be charged. As well as bringing in our witness and the 11 other women he had violated and she is feeling confident he won’t want to take that risk since he only has 1 year of probation left verses 5:years in jail if found guilty. From there the hospital not knowing how serious the surgery is for my sons girlfriend until they go in. From scar tissue to a partial removal of digestive track.
