Today was somewhat busy. It was payday and we had a couple of errands to run and getting the groceries ordered. We pick-up and put away the groceries tomorrow. Will have some fresh fruits and veggies in the house again. It was nice being out & getting some steps in. It was quite warm for a January day. I was able to get by with a sweater rather than a coat. We have had a warm, dry winter so far.
We just found out our neighbor had a stroke, it happened on Sunday morning. My husband talked to her son and offered to plow their drive out if we get any snow. We have lived next to her for the last 10 years, I feel really sad about it. One of the reasons that I don't smoke and am trying to get my weight under control (just don't want to have to go through
something like a stroke). They are rough and usually take a lot of recovery time.
I'm trying a new type of eating called Reset- A program put together by physicians. You have reset days where your calorie count is quite restricted (you eat a lot of protein and fiber on those days) & you have reset days two or three days a week with mindful eating within your calorie range on the others. It sounds like a plan I can stick with, that will help me lower my over-all calories each week. Going to try it for 12 weeks-which is what you pay for with the app.
I'm excited about the possibilities and learning a whole new way to eat. I AM STILL TRACKING MY FOOD ON SPARK EVERY DAY. I just track my Reset days in the Reset app as well as on Spark people.
