I know what I should be doing, but am just finding it hard to follow through with my plans. I was doing so well before the holidays at the end of last year. I gave in to my "just wants" instead of following through with my needs. I now realize that I need to get serious once again and follow the Mediterranean Diet. I need to say "NO" to those foods that do not help me in my journey.
I really have no support system an have to be my own best cheerleader. I know that I can do it because before Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas I was losing weight. I had lost 10 pounds and had gone from a 36 waist to a 34 waist. I am glad that I have not gained enough weight to go back to the 36 waist.
I have 5 months before I see my primary doctor and 6 months before I see my hematologist. I want to keep my head with my plan so I can lose 20 pounds before I see them.
