I have a collection of pictures from various internet sources and post ones that reflect my mood of the day on my Facebook page. It's a break from the terrible stuff people post. This picture really touched me. I recently read an article (on FB of course) about these guys hurting a doe just for the fun of it, it was cruel, so here's a pile of sweet babies to compensate. 5 babies, so darn adorable!

Yesterday was Day 750 of my current Spark journey. I blew my day away...kind of love my Sunday*Fundays. Movies, popcorn, beer and sports. Hockey fan here and yes, we went nuts when Kane made his 1000th goal. Feel so sad for his parent, they have traveled to all the recent games to see this moment, however were snowed in New York and could not get back to Chicago for the game. Only 9 US hockey players, in history, have accomplished that. Only 88 players in NHL, total, so you can do the math, Canadian hockey players rock!

This is so inspiring. I never played hockey 😭
And never will but I glean some powerful lessons from this. I watch my friends little kids on the ice. They start so young, 4-5 yr. The focus and parental commitment, huge expenses in equipment, travel, and coaches, is remarkable. Huge amounts of time and energy into helping these guys meet their goals. I ask you isn't it so incredible that Sparkpeople commits so many resources into helping us meet our goals? To find success in creating a healthy lifestyle, changing our lives totally. Commiting to goals. I read today that yes we struggle and fall so often, in so many ways, but that is part of the process. Fall down, get up, fall down get up. If every little thing was easy how would that look. I will testify that the hardships I have gone through in life only make me stronger and I can be proud of the accomplishments.

    Well said Charie!

My first thought when I saw the photo was that it was a heart. My theme of the day has been love so it was fitting that I'd see that in the picture.

I learned about Hockey from a Canadian friend (green card) years ago during an Olympic game. Watching with Greg made it more exciting.
