An update: How I ended 2019

It's been quite a while since I've made a blog entry. I'm just not disciplined enough to do them regularly. This past year was a very good year. The hubs and I are a few months in to our second year of retirement and we're loving the life! We have acclimated into our new "routine" which is to say, we have a few things we do on the regular but we "does what we wants" lol. This past year we renovated our pool area, built a greenhouse, took quite a few short and long trips and spent many hours and miles riding the Harley's. I've become a regular exerciser (surprised even myself!) and I eat healthy most of the time. I ended the year 27 lbs. less than I started. I didn't gain anything through the Holiday's, which I think is a first for me! I'm not exactly where I want to be weight wise but I have a feeling I'll get there this year. I'll just sum this up by saying how fortunate we are and how grateful I am to be in the position we are. Healthy and loving life.

    DH has been retired almost 4 years.

    I semi-retired in 2019,

    I highly recommend the 'retired' life!!!

    I am in the midst of looking for a house for us. Our neighborhood has gone way downhill, and I only want to move ONCE more in my lifetime. I spend lots of time purging our current home...donating anything usable to Salvation Army or a local women's shelter.

    Once we get to our LAST home, I want to do senior dog rescue. That should be plenty to keep me busy.
