Weekend finally here!

The week was long and challenging but I survived it! In fact, I think I may even have lost some weight. I also know that I have started a new habit that if I continue with it, should bring greater losses and success.
My habits have been to be more intentional about my breakfasts and lunches. I bought frozen meals and stocked up my freezer in the classroom with lunches, I also practiced saying, thanks, but no thanks, I'll eat one of my frozen meals. I bought breakfast options too since I don't have time to eat before school, but can eat at school while my students eat theirs. I added a couple of days in the therapy pool. Finally, my son has been working with me and making more vegetables for our dinners, lean proteins and fewer carb heavy foods.
I am anxious to see if the fledgling habits bring me any success this soon. I expect that over time there will be even more successes of I stick to these habits. None of them are either unrealistic or particularly restrictive. They aren't all-or-nothing but rather goals to reduce the less healthy habits that I have been slipping into over time.
