Tuesday & Wednesday - Great Days!
Wednesday, January 15, 2020
Tuesday was a good day. I got everything done that was on my "hope to do" list so the fireplace was cleaned out, the kitchen was cleaned and work documents were shredded. I didn't get around to blogging as an old friend showed up about 8:30 and we talked for a couple of hours and then it was bedtime.
Other things that happened on Tuesday was the dogs sleeping nearby while I was getting some of my Sparking finished.
Kim and Maegann completely resolved the issues that were driving them apart and as I suspected all along it was Rachel spreading lies.
Nice hearing those two laughing and enjoying life together at school.
I chose my next jigsaw puzzle and will get it sorted, but won't work on it until the week of the 25th as Tim will be in Reno again. Helps my evenings go easier.
Today started out with ladies Bible study and it is so good having that going again.
We are doing a study by Lauren Chandler called "Steadfast Love" and it is on Psalm 107. Thankfully the daily study pages aren't overwhelming.
Once home I did some paid work and now I'm Sparking a bit before making supper which is pretty simple. Chili and cornbread. Isaac should be home from therapy time with Meg soon, Tim should be getting home from work and Maegann is at the school for a photo shoot event called "Roaring 20's" so probably won't see her until around 8pm.
And GREAT news from Maegann. SHE GOT LEVEL TWO! This means she is now in the front of the salon in a set station until she graduates. These students need less instructor time and the fees go up a bit for their work. So thankful I pushed her to talk with Holly about it as she advocated for Maegann and was not pleased that Elaine didn't award her this certification on Friday after her referral. Maegann and I knew all along this is where the problem was because for whatever reason Elaine does not like her. She also has all of her Honors work submitted and only has "texture" to finish and then she should have that certificate as well.
Tomorrow there is absolutely nothing on the schedule so I will get laundry done and finish up a plan draft. If the weather is nicer (not windy and freezing cold) I will get the lights down from the back patio and maybe the front of the house.
