I had to put my beloved cat down today

Poor Siobhan! She was 13 years old and not well. She used to be so fat, but had lost a lot of weight in the last 6 months, she was skin and bones, but eating well. She never missed the litter box. She growled a lot and would hunch on her hind legs and just stand there. This morning she couldn't walk with her hind legs and I knew it was time.
She was snugglier than ever this last year, she'd climb on me whenever I sat or lay down on the porch sofa. She liked to be as close to my face as she could get. She always slept on our bed, I'm really going to miss all of that. She and her half sister, Vida, napped on top of each other throughout the day, poor Vida will be bereft. At least she got one last Christmas of sleeping on the batting under a tree.
That's Siobhan in the back.
She was my first pure blood Siamese, a beautiful blue point with vivid blue eyes. I remember the 4 hour drive to get her, she was 8 weeks old, and slept on my lap the whole 4 hours back home. She was my first burrowing cat, she liked to dig herself into blankets and piles of laundry, she taught the other two cats the joys of burrowing.
I buried her out back in the woods with 4 other cats who have passed on. I ordered her grave marker today.
I revel in spoiling my kitty babies, we're retired so they get a LOT of love. And they have the run of the entire house all the time. Now she rests in land she has watched from the window for 13 years.
Rest In Peace, my sweet Siobhan.
