Calm Monday

Monday, January 13, 2020

My morning was spent driving and attending Isaac's doctor appointment. I am glad that Isaac didn't bluff his withdrawal behaviors with the doctor, but I had more I would have liked to share with her because of the direction she is suggesting. I decided to say that we'll discuss at home and let her know our thoughts, but the next step is to get a written note to her and schedule time for her to visit with Tim and I without Isaac there. Can only share so much of what seems negative when he's there as I/we know the goal is positive changes, but Isaac will just hear it as a fail. I will say he's been much nicer this evening to me so maybe part of what I said hit home for him today.

Once home I checked work emails and then got busy finishing up the personal finances. Thankfully I found several duplicated entries that have eased up the end numbers, but I have told everyone there will be zero use of the debit card until the next pay day. Having to pay that $1000+ the day of my surgery began the tightness of funds.

I then spent time with my Prayerful Planner before making supper and now I'm waiting on Tim so we can watch "A Royal Christmas Ball". Yep. Still watching Christmas movies!

Maegann spent time this afternoon making phone calls to salons to schedule her shadowing hours. She has to get 30 hours and it appears she has half of those scheduled on Sunday and Monday.

Tomorrow the schedule is completely open and the house is mine!

Prayerful Planner
Start a load of laundry
Empty ashes from fireplace
Shred paper
Clean out files for year-end (I'm late on this one.)
