It is time for Faith

Where does faith come from? Many people are disillusioned and have lost faith in everything. It is time to do our part to rectify that.
The Bible says in Romans 10:17 New Living Translation (NLT) “17 So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.”
And that news about Christ includes Hebrews 12:1-2: “Therefore since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. 2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.
Jesus is the one who initiates and perfects our faith. Without the power and interaction of Jesus, we would have no faith. The Holy Spirit calls people unto Himself. He stirs up the inquisitiveness within people. As we share the gospel from the Word of God, Jesus works inside people to develop their faith. The only part that we play is in sharing the Word. Being a channel through whom God can use to get His message out.
As we grow in our faith, we can endure situations that we never could have done so on our own. That is what is meant when Philippians 4:13 New Living Translation (NLT) states
13 For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
Christ gives us the strength to carry on along the road paved out before us; even when it gets chaotic or difficult. With the help of Christ, all things that God calls us to do can be accomplished. But it takes faith. And that brings us back to the beginning. We get faith from Christ through hearing the gospel.
There are so many who have lost faith in everything. But only one faith is needed to regain a better life and outlook. Faith in Jesus Christ. Isn’t it about time we started spreading the Word of God so others can be restored to faith?
Until Next Time~
