Just a little more chicken humor. hahahaha I love chickens, and was a happy camper to go visit BIL & SIL's biddies the Christmas eve day. I just love to hear their little clucking noises. And yes, they all have names.
Had a great day yesterday and Terry (s2) helped Larry do a couple littler jobs here in the house, that I can't help him with cause of my arm. One was pulling that old microwave off the wall, and hauled out, and the other was taking the cover off the kitchen light down so I could clean a few fried flies out of it. How do they get in there is the first place. It does take 2 people to take that big florescent light cover down, and again with my arm there is no way I can do it. Then Terry informs us that the boys are all going together and buying us a new shower for out bathroom, and Terry will put it in for us. WOW, that shower has needed re-place for years, as it is cracked on the bottom and it is duck taped up and that has worked now several year, just needs replaced a couple time a years. lol So this will be wonderful.
Gosh I am just raking in the good stuff this year. I gave Larry the explanation as every since we have been married, it has all been about the needs of the farm, and now that he is retired we can now do the things needed in the house. And there is several that should be done, but will not expect them all this coming year.
The livestock in the house are all enjoying a relaxing day, without that lively puppy in here. Odin kept them on there toes, even Merlin didn't know what to do with him. I mean when you are about 160 # and there is a 7 week 15# wiggly pup pestering him, what can you do but just walked away. And when he went outside, Duke was the same way, it's was best just to stay out of it way. They really didn't know what to do with him. Now Finn that was a different situation. He stood his ground and gave a loud hiss and growl and Odin back up right away. No blood drawn. Good deal.
I myself am rather in need of a day off, so I am not pushing myself, just put a picture in the spot where the old microwave was and a shelf with a couple knick knacks until we can finish that place off with siding to match the cupboards. And guess what they are, yes they are CHICKENS. I like the look and will take a picture when we get it done, Right now they are covering up the hole in tile and such. Can't wait to get that done, will give Larry something to do for a few days.
Well, I am going to split, so you all have a GET day and take care. Linda
