My 85 and 83 year old parents still do the food bank after all these years. This year was the most and best donations ever. We had at least 8 full boxes each per family and not including the meat, freezer and refrigerator food. The toys were the most expensive and current, popular and not like the ones in the past. This year people really stepped up and gave more, spent more and are going to make 50 families totally blessed. After we were done my parents had us take a side trip and we drove to the cemetery. They had there grave stone engraved with the replicated picture of the pond with fishers cove etched on a black head stone. It is beautiful and every detail of the equipment and buildings is perfect. All these years my dad would tell us he wants to be cremated and put in the pond so something has changed. My mil is 97 and today the first she didn’t know us so we prepare for 2020.
