Not All Garlics Are Made The Same

And apparently these are masquerading as onions. I honestly thought they were onions till the veggie vendor told me they were garlic cloves. These are fragrant garlic and each clove is the size of large shallot or a small red onion. I've never seen such supersized garlic before. They're like the Hulk of their veggie class. I don't know about the fragrance part as they smell like mild garlic. In fact they smell so mild I had to sniff hard to get the garlicky whiff. I was thinking of grilling some garlic for dinner. Now I'm worried they might not be garlicky enuff. Which would be a real pity becos they were really expensive. These cost 4x more than normal garlic. My skinflint genes are weeping tears of blood. Hopefully they will redeem themselves. I now have to wonder how Imma gonna store so many of them. Will they freeze well? Hmmm...
