It does not matter whether you sit in the "best" seat or in the back.

Do you know the voice of the Bridegroom? (Matthew 25:1-13; Hebrews 1:1-4; Revelation 19:7).
Jesus said, “When you are invited by anyone to a wedding feast, do not sit down in the best place, lest one more honorable than you be invited by him; and he who invited you and him come and say to you, ‘Give place to this man,’ and then you begin with shame to take the lowest place” (Luke 14:8-9).
As I read this verse, it reminded me of a woman in a church we attended in the past who told me she was so glad she had a seat right up in front of pastor’s pulpit because her first husband had been a pastor. She continued to tell me that God’s presence was in the front rows of the church. The funny thing is that I too had experienced the presence of God during services and we were sitting more toward the back of the church.
God does not have limits. We limit God. He does not play favorites; He looks for those who will worship Him in Spirit and truth. It does not matter whether we sit in the "best" place or the back. It matters whether we humble ourselves, pray and seek His presence with all of our heart.
Even though I know God will be with me today, there is no reason to think that He cannot be with you as well. Rejoice in His presence. We must not limit God!
